Year 12 Mother Daughter Iftar

The class of 2021 have started their annual campaign which is aiming to raise awareness and much needed funds to support the refugees in Europe. The campaign is titled “Empathy for Europe” to spread understanding of the conditions refugees encounter on a day to day basis. Their first major event was held on the Friday, 7th of May in the school gym. The Mothers Celebration Iftar aimed to acknowledge the importance of our mothers and was a true success. 160 guests enjoyed the international buffet and the program on offer by the students, which included Kahoot games and silent auctions. The students raised over $3500 towards their campaign and did an outstanding job at organising and running the event.
